Rare (460 built) Porsche 1953 Pre-A bent windshield 1500N numbers matching Reutter Cabriolet #60323. Running driver condition with 75 hp 1600S engine #84318 installed and original 2-pc crankcase 1500N engine #32273 included with car. Original engine complete missing only the muffler. COA confirms original engine # but indicates incorrect 1600cc instead of 1500cc (Porsche did not make a 1600cc engine in 1953). The car was restored in 1980, still looks beautiful but is showing it’s 35 year old restoration and is due for a fresh new restoration. Runs and drives well, a real head turner. Body is rust free with only small minor dents easily fixed during restoration. Undercarriage is mostly rust free, the floor pans and longitudinals need attention or replacement. Interior is good to fair condition but would need a carpet and seat cover replacement during restoration, seat frames are original. Convertible top is complete but with a cracked rear window and the front wooden yolk needs to be replaced. Bolt on front disc breaks were installed for better stopping power but original drum breaks were saved and are included with car. Believed original transmission #2686 was rebuilt in 2011. The car has 15″ wheels with 2 year old Vredestein sprint classic radials for better handling instead of original 16″ wheels. Gauges work accept for the odometer is stuck on 50,000 miles, the previous owner (1981-2007) was a collector and rarely drove it. Current owner has driven about 4,000 miles from 2007-present and has all maintenance receipts from that period.
