The Porsche 356 is a sports car that was first produced by Austrian company Porsche Konstruktionen GesmbH, and then by German company Dr. Ing. H. c. F. Porsche GmbH. It was Porsche’s first production automobile.
The 356 is a lightweight and nimble-handling, rear-engine, rear-wheel drive, built of a unibody construction.
The 356 B was produced from 1960-1963. In late 1959 significant styling and technical refinements gave rise to the 356 B (a T5 body type). The basic design of the 356 remained the same throughout the end of its lifespan in 1965, with evolutionary, functional improvements rather than annual superficial styling changes.
This 1960 Porsche 356 B, is powered by a rebuilt 1600 cc engine, paired to the original rebuilt 4 speed manual transmission.
The exterior had all the body metal restored and painted the original Signal Red color.
The Tan interior has been redone including seat upholstery, dash pad, headliner, door panels, and new carpet. Original factors to this vehicle are the Doors and Handles, Gauges, Hood, Decklid, Glass, Headlights, Taillights, Chrome, Rims, and Gas Tank.
