1972 Porsche 911T Hotrod

This 1972 Porsche 911T was sold new to a doctor in Allensville, Pennsylvania at Montgomery Porsche-Audi on April 22, 1972. He relocated the car to Monterey, California in 1977 after being transferred to a different hospital. Following 43 years of original ownership, the car was sold to a dealer in selling dealer in 2015 and purchased by the previous owner in 2017 and brought down to Florida. 1972 was the only year that the 911 featured an external oil filler door, which can be seen on the passenger-side rear fender. This is a factory rare Aubergine color as well as being a factory sunroof delete car as seen in the copy of the Certificate of authenticity (COA).

After joining the collection of the previous owner in 2019 began the build to what you see now which is an absolute thrill to drive. A open checkbook style build ensued with a gathering of all the best performance parts he could find to build this beautiful outlaw. A 993 3.6L Varioram motor was sourced to replace the factory 2.4L. A local shop in Miami Florida called Parkhaus1 was commissioned to install the motor. The build list is extensive and the entire car has been gone through. Over $80k was spent in parts and labor with documented receipts at Parkhaus1.

The driving experience in this car is phenomenal. The engine is tuned to perfection and the balance is unparalleled. After the build was completed and the car was broken in a dyno tune was performed. Dyno results showed 281Whp and 245lb ft of torque. With estimated 15% horsepower loss through the drivetrain makes this roughly 320hp. This power combined with the estimated curb weight of 2,235 pounds makes this car feel incredibly fast as witnessed in the video below.

The fully adjustable von shock coil over suspension is tuned in perfectly and the driving characteristics in the corners has been dramatically increased. The stopping power from the Brembo 4 pot front and rear brakes provides the stopping power needed.

Interior has been fitted with a MOMO steering wheel and quick release hub. All the original gauges are intact and in full working order. The dash does have a split in it as seen in photos. The vintage bucket seats are installed with appropriate rail sliders. Rear seats are original. The headliner is in good condition and being a factory sunroof delete provides additional headroom.
