1983 Porsche 911 Convertible Widebody for sale

Up for sale is a nice 1983 WideBody Porsche 911 Convertible ready to drive! It was in a private collection and is now up for sale. Was mostly a Florida car and always garage kept. Recently did the maintenance on the Porsche at Smit Autowerks from oil change to new ignition module, brake service, new tires, valve cover seals and etc.. There’s quite a bit invested in this car, it was built with the Turbo look in mind, genuine metal Porsche wide body (not fiberglass), fins, side skirts, genuine WB Porsche spoiler not an aftermarket one.

The Porsche 911 is a two-door, high performance rear engine sports car. The 911 was introduced in September 1964. It has a rear engined flat six engine and all round independent suspension. It has undergone continuous development, though the basic concept has remained unchanged. The engines were air cooled until the introduction of the type 996 in 1998, with the 993, produced from 19941998 model years, being the last of the air-cooled Porsche sports cars. The 911 has been modified by private teams and by Porsche itself for racing, rallying and other forms of automotive competition. It is among the most successful competition cars.

This car drives exceptionally well, you can take it to the car shows & for weekend cruises. Definitely gets a lot of attention & questions at the cars and coffee. The Porsche is powered by it’s 6 cylinder, single overhead camshaft naturally aspirated powerplant with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Engine Bay is well detailed, engine runs smooth. The Body is straight as an arrow. All doors, trunk, hood are all aligned like they should from factory. It has always been garage kept and well taken care. All the exterior bumpers, trim, latches, are in good shape. Underneath the floor pans are in good shape!

The Interior is splendid and contrast well to the exterior white Porsche paint, black upholstery has been fitted, and tastefully done, and overall condition looks good. Suede steering wheel, Suede dashboard. Top goes up and down with no issues. It’s manual for that year and less maintenance to deal with. The Porsche is ready to go. Has full spare in the trunk as well. Original soft top.

Has 4-wheel disc brakes! Wheels are genuine Porsche wheels not aftermarket parts, and has brand new 245 50R 16 tires.
