Last of the “classic silhouette” 911s! This 1990 C2 5-Speed is a recent “Garage find” out of North Carolina, finished in the rare and desirable factory color of Stone Grey Metallic. This is a “driver” level 964 with decently low miles that shows very well for being 26 years old. The previous owner bought the car in 2002 and enjoyed it for almost 10 years, before retiring it to the garage around 2011. It sat for some time between 2011-2015, but is now alive and running very well. The engine pulls strong, the transmission shift smoothly, brakes feel good and suspension is tight. The motor does have the typical 911 oil seepage. There are a few quarter-sized drops on my garage floor after running it up to temperature. The car has had 3 owners over its lifetime, two being long term 10+yr custodians. It lived most of its life in Texas until 2002 when it was sold to the previous owner in NC. The previous owner spent big $$$ rebuilding the engine at 74k miles in 2005 (receipts included). Some tasteful mods include front strut brace, Bilstien HD shocks, H&R lowering springs, Cup 1 wheels (17×7.5/17×9), and Fabspeed intake box. The car appears to have been garaged in the winter months as there are no signs of rust. Like 90% of 911s, the A/C is there, but not blowing cold.
