1995 Porsche 968 Coupe for sale

The 968 was a limited production Porsche produced from the model year 1992 to 1995. Many were equipped with the undesireable ‘Tiptronic’ (slushomatic) gearbox. NOT THIS ONE. All 968s came from the factory with the M44/12 3.0 Liter 16-valve inline-four cylinder engine. To date, the M44 is the most powerful four cylinder motor ever produced and puts out 237HP and 225 FT-LBS of torque. The 968 was the ‘swan song’ as it pertained to the lineage of the 924 (1977-1982) and the 944 (1983-1991). Only 4,039 968s were ever produced/sold in the United States compared to the worldwide production of over 170,000 944s–NOT A TYPO. Consequently, how many of these oft-forgotten 968s are still on the road in the US? Half that amount? Less than that? …Which brings us back to the salient point: THIS IS A COLLECTORS CAR. We performed the following services/repairs in the last 50 (not a typo) miles: full timing belt service, tensioner, belts, etc, oil change, brand new Kumho tires, brand new OE Porsche windshield, COMPLETE AC service (evac, vacuum test & charge), cabin filters, brand new fog lights/high beams, front mesh grill and the 18×10 (rear) and 18×9 twist wheels were removed, shot-peened and repainted factory Wurth silver metallic and the paint was color corrected and polished. The interior leather is supple and rip/crack/tear free; headlights work (most don’t at this point), the rear power hatch works (most don’t at this point) and the car, in general, is an absolutely fun & visceral car to drive.
