This is one of the most well known Porsche turbo builds on the internet. Known everywhere as the RUF RSR, this vehicle has a fantastic story behind it.

Originally ordered as a factory turbo look vehicle, this M491 Carrera went from being a 3.2 to becoming a RUF converted BTR 3.4 by Tore Johnson; Premier RUF importer and builder of the day.

At the time of its first inception, this car became known as the RUF RSR wearing a full steel 935 body conversion rolling for 2000 miles and being published in the 1989 book “The World’s Fastest Cars”. Shortly after, the car was built into a 3.5 5 speed version that suffered an engine failure until its rebirth in 2015.

The car then received a RUF 6 speed gear box and a complete rebuild to the tune of over $90,000 to turn the car into the 700 horsepower monster you see today.

Perfect Power took the vehicle and built it with a 993 based engine, bored out to 3.8 liters and equipped with twin turbos, BBS E28s, 993 Big Red brakes, fully functioning AC and has been recently fully serviced with all fluids and filters changed along with an AC service and new fuses.

This car is being sold with the original owners manual of the vehicle, one key, all invoices of the entire engine build from Perfect Power, leather box from when it was featured at Bonhams auctions and can be seen in a plethora of online automotive outlets including Car and Driver magazine.
