1984 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.5L Twin Plug Hot Rod: finished in Slate Blue Metallic over Marine Blue leather interior. Under previous ownership the original engine was removed and replaced with a new motor built from a 930 Turbo case fitted with 100mm Mahle pistons and cylinders, ported heads with sodium-filled Club Sport valves, 930 oil pump, 964 camshafts, 964 twin plug ignition system, dual external oil coolers, SSI heat exchangers, two in two out early OEM style muffler and a custom Peter Dawe performance chip. A claimed output of approximately 250 HP is sent to the rear wheels by a 915 gearbox with a custom gated shifter. The suspension received custom-valved Bilstein strut inserts in the original Boge struts, custom-valved Bilstein rear shocks, upgraded 23mm front and 28mm rear torsion bars, thicker OEM 21mm/22 mm anti-roll bars, 930 steering rack, 930 tie rods, 930 hubs, 993 four-piston brake calipers with floating rotors and hats, and Pagid Blue brake pads. Custom three piece wheels utilize OEM 16” Fuchs centers with 17” BBS stepped barrels measuring 9” wide in the front and 10” wide in the rear. New Toyo R888 tires were fitted in 2021. The interior features 911 sport seats upholstered in Marine Blue leather with a matching dashboard and door panels. Audio is handled by a Blaupunkt Bremen SQR-46 radio with built in Bluetooth, Aux jack, and 6-speaker sound system. Additional interior upgrades include a Nardi Fittipaldi E3 steering wheel, 10,000 RPM tachometer, Rennline drilled floorboards, pedals, door handles and lock knobs. Recently a RSR black carpet kit was installed.Exterior details include a Euro rear bumper, Euro H4 headlights, Euro taillight lenses, Turbo-style front spoiler, French yellow fog light lenses and power-operated door mirrors. The 911 shows just over 425k miles on the odometer with approximately 25k miles on the rebuilt engine, transmission, suspension and interior. The current owner has spent nearly $15,000 to replace the clutch and flywheel in addition to addressing oil leaks and performing a comprehensive service at Porsche specialist NARW in Reseda, California.
